Sketch is the best way to practise for me, especially character sketch. There is always somebody around to be your models. There is no definitive method, no time limit. It could be done with a dozen pencils or just one, a few seconds or a couple of hours – or perhaps even days.
Drawing nude is a precious opportunity to learn the structure of the human body. They were drawn in 2007 during my life drawing classes in my Masters in the UK.
I like to use different way to draw. Compared to Oil painting which is easier to draw and change, I personally like water colour painting which is clearer.
The reason I like outdoor drawing is that it is a good chance to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. Certainly, there’s also times you’ll be cold and frozen.
